Resetting the printer
After the Ink Service Module has been replaced, trigger level 1, 2a, 2b, or 3 will still be displayed when the printer is turned on. Reset the printer to remove the trigger level messages.
CAUTION: Do not reset the printer if the Ink Service Module is not replaced. The spittoon may overflow.
Follow the instructions below to reset the printer.
Turn on the printer.
Press and hold down the Cancel button.
While holding down the Cancel button, press and hold down the Resume button.
Hold the Cancel and Resume buttons down for 8 seconds and then release both buttons. The Right Print Cartridge LED and the Resume LED will go off and the printer will return to a Ready state. When the printer returns to the Ready state, it indicates the printer was successfully reset.
