KINGWIN Z1 HARD DRIVE ENCLOSURE
"Lately, I’ve been HDD obsessed. It seems like I never have enough room, or enough drives. As a recording engineer, my space needs are quite large. However, opening my rig up, rerouting cabling, mounting drives, and tidying up again afterwards is a royal pain. So much so, that I let a new 750gb drive sit in the box for a few weeks. What I needed was an easy way to install a drive, without all the hassle that project normally involves.

Luckily for me, the Man in Brown showed up on my doorstep with the new Kingwin Z1 series HDD enclosure. Promising easy drive installation, USB and E-SATA connectivity, and good looks, the Z1 came to my rescue at just the right time. Follow along with me, as we see how well it does its job."

OCZ HydroJet CPU Cooler Prototype (2nd version)
"Six months ago we talked about a prototype from a CPU cooler from OCZ called HydroJet. Now OCZ showed us a new prototype for the same product, being somewhat different from the first version we saw, seeming to be the final version that will reach the market. So let’s take a look on the new HydroJet CPU cooler prototype from OCZ.

As you can see on Figure 1, HydroJet will be a cylindrical CPU cooler with a radial fan."

CoolerMaster Gemin II CPU Cooler Review
" When this next item was offered up for review, I jumped on the opportunity right away. I seem to get weird, off-the-wall items to review *cough*Bat case*cough* and, well, this next item definitely falls into the weird category. The item in question is the Gemin II from Coolermaster, or as I like to call it, "The Griddle". The Gemin II is a large, low sitting cooler designed to not only cool the CPU, but many of the other motherboard components around the CPU, like the capacitor and RAM. The Gemin II uses two 120mm fans (not included) to cool its large surface."

Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme: Heir to the CPU Cooling Throne
"Thermalright has a long tradition of making excellent heatsinks with simple, aesthetically pleasing designs. Its previous flagship CPU cooler, the massive aluminum tower Ultra 120, gave the low airflow champ Scythe Ninja a serious run for its money. Not one to sit idle, Thermalright improved the design by increasing the number of heat pipes from four to six and added the moniker "eXtreme" to the name. With the original Ultra-120 being a strong performer already, the question we look to answer is: How much difference can two heatpipes make?"

Chill Factor
vs.
Liquid Pro

"Today manufacturers offer a plethora of different kind of coolers. But the cooling power of the most efficient cooler can be hindered by the stuff between the core and the cooler's base. Silver based compounds have been around for a while, but still manufacturers come up with new ideas and products."

ZEROtherm Hurricane HC92 CU 8800
"We have tested several of ZEROtherm's coolers in the past, with some of their GPU offerings proving to be well worth a buy. Today we have something that's designed to deal with the 8800 series' inefficient, noisy, stock cooler; The Hurricane HC92."
