Если нет IDE устройств - переходи на SATA Only в случае если ставил винду в режиме AHCI.
Поиграйся с позицией 3.3.6 Storage Configuration.
The items in this menu allow you to set or change the configurations for the SATA devices installed in the system. Select an item then press <Enter> if you want to configure the item.
SATA Configuration [Enhanced]
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Compatible] [Enhanced]
If you want the Serial ATA hard disk drives to use the Advanced Host Controller Interface (AHCI), set this item to [AHCI]. The AHCI allows the onboard storage driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally optimize the order of commands.
При этом в BIOS отключи IDE как класс (контроллер в 3.5.4 Onboard Device Configuration)
- Marvell IDE [Enabled] (выключи!)
Allows you to enable or disable the onboard Marvell IDE controller.
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
- Marvell IDE Boot ROM [Enabled] (эта позиция пропадёт если выключишь предыдущую)
This item appears only when you set the previous item to [Enabled].

Вот ещё нашёл: "3.3.5 SATA 1-6. While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of Serial ATA devices. There is a separate sub-menu for each SATA device. Select a device item then press <Enter> to display the SATA device information.
Select [CDROM] if you are specifically configuring a CD-ROM drive.".
Если не поможет, то попробуй заменить шлейф и проверить питание (вставь по новой фишку), если не поможет, поставь "дрова SATA2" от "мамы" с сайта. Если не поможет, то есть вопрос - при установке винды ты ставил её в режиме AHCI или IDE (системный диск в BIOS в каком режиме стоял при установке)? Лично встречался с проблемой когда при установке винды в режиме AHCI у "мам" первых поколений, якобы поддерживающих AHCI, появляются разные проблемы.
Вобщем, дофига чего может быть, вплоть до того что "глючит" сам привод (возможно с конкретным "железом"). Ты его пробовал проверять на другом компе? А может он просто тупо не входит в список "compatible" для этой материнки или ему нужно обновить "firmware".
